QUICK HELP

  • Create your menu using "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" buttons.
  • Use various ready to use Templates. Double click on the Template to apply it.
  • To change button appearance select item by clicking it and change item's text, link, link target attribute, tooltip, icons for normal and mouse over states.
  • Save your menu as data file or export it to HTML page.

  • Let's assign text to the dhtml menu items. Select first item by clicking it and then enter text in the "Text" field on the Item Parameters window. You will see that, as you enter the text, the selected item's text in the Preview window will change too.


    Then select next item with click. Enter its text and so on.


  • To select a group of items you can use Shift and Ctrl keys. To rename an item click on it and hold a mouse cursor for a second. To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method. To copy items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.


    Also you can use a contextual menu - a right mouse click on the list of items.
  • After finishing, the menu will look like this:

  • Let's apply ready to use templates for the menu. To do it just select template you like in the Templates window.


    When you find a template you like, click it to apply. For example, after choosing one of the "Vista Style 2-17" template, you'll get following result:


  • Now let's add some icons. Select item and then click the "Click to select image" button on the Item Parameters window to assign icons for normal and mouseover states.


    "Open" dialog will appear, where you can choose an icon. Other way to assign an icon is to type its full path and name in the "Icon" field ("c:/myicons/stylish_3/pretty.ico", for example).

    To change icon sizes you should set the following parameters in the Icons section of parameters list:

    Repeat this for each menu item. You should get something like this in result:

  • Create both horizontal and vertical menus and submenus with any amount of menus on one page.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically scrolled. To view all the submenu you can use scrollbars
